Lil’ Toot is running 7 days a week this summer!

Tickets may be purchased online (below), at our Kiosk (for Stearns Wharf Departures), or on Lil’ Toot (for Harbor Departures)

ONE-WAY FARE (25 minutes):
$10 for Adults
$5 for Children (0-12 years)

11:45AM, 12:45PM, 1:45PM, 1:45PM, 2:45PM, 3:45PM, 4:45PM & 5:45PM

Stearns Wharf Departure Times
12:15PM, 1:15PM, 2:15PM, 3:15PM, 4:15PM, 5:15PM & *6:15PM

*last trip of the day on Sat & Sun only

Lil’ Toot, Santa Barbara’s original waterfront taxi, provides 25 minute narrated boat rides between the Santa Barbara Harbor and Stearns Wharf every hour.

With seating up to 19 passengers per the USCG requirements, our Santa Barbara water taxi rides and harbor tours are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Experience the two exciting sides of the Santa Barbara Waterfront: From Santa Barbara to Stearns Wharf, we take you for souvenir shopping, the Sea Center, whale watching, fishing, and delicious dining at the Shellfish Company, Longboard’s, and Moby Dick Restaurant. There’s always something happening at Stearns Wharf! From the Wharf to the Santa Barbara Harbor, we take you to the must-see destination featuring the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum. Check out the world-class restaurants offering the freshest seafood available – like Brophy Brothers, Chomp on the Rocks, and Salty at the Beach. You can also enjoy the incredible scenery by strolling out on the breakwater and taking in a magnificent sunset.

Lil’ Toot offers a first-rate experience and tour of the Santa Barbara waterfront. Our captain and crew will fill the cruise with interesting facts and tidbits about local harbor history, celebrity-owned yachts, wildlife, and more!

Unfortunately, our boats do not accommodate wheelchairs or mobility assistance devices. Due to the various levels with ramps, steps, and thresholds it may be unsuitable for some people with atypical mobility. With loading and unloading passengers from an open ocean pier (Stearns Wharf), we are unable to board passengers that require assistance from others or any special equipment. This is for their safety and the safety of others.

 

Lil' Toot Directions

Our Santa Barbara Harbor stop is located at the dock in front of 113 Harbor Way in the Santa Barbara Harbor.
Our Stearns Wharf stop is located at our sales kiosk at 237 Stearns Wharf.
Look for our yellow boat with the smile on its bow and bubbles coming from the smokestack!

Directions coming from the south:

  • Take Highway 101 North into Santa Barbara.
  • Exit Garden Street/Laguna Street and veer to the Garden Street offramp.
  • Left on Garden Street, under the freeway.
  • Right on Cabrillo Blvd when you reach the waterfront and proceed to Stearns Wharf on your left.

To Stearns Wharf: You can visit our kiosk at 237 Stearns Wharf by turning left onto the Wharf.

To Harbor: Continue and turn left at Harbor Way intersection entering the Harbor. Paid parking is available in the City lot to your right, or in the Harbor lot to your left.

Directions coming from the north:

  • Take Highway 101 South into Santa Barbara.
  • Exit Castillo Street, go right on Castillo.

To Stearns Wharf: Left on Castillo and turn right at the Wharf. Our address is 237 Stearns Wharf.

To Harbor: Right on Shoreline Drive (aka Cabrillo Blvd). Left at Harbor Way intersection, entering the Harbor.

Once you turn onto Harbor Way, paid parking is available in the City lot to your immediate right, or in the Harbor lot to your immediate left. More Santa Barbara Waterfront parking information is here.
