  • 2025 Whale Watching Season: See sea lions, grey whales, humpback whales, dolphins, and more from Santa Barbara's pristine coastline. Enjoy a two-hour excursion on our 70' multi-level yacht, Azure Seas.
  • Full Bar Onboard: Enjoy our full bar, featuring local Santa Barbara wines, craft beer selection, and a full cocktail menu as well as chips, snacks and candy. We accept credit & debit cards only, no cash. 21+ with valid hard copy ID.
  • Main Deck Tickets : Main deck is a combination of outdoor padded bench seating and indoor booth seating. All main deck seats first come, first served.
  • Upper Deck Tickets: Upper deck is all outdoors, featuring chairs in the back and padded bench seating in front of the captain's wheelhouse. All upper deck seats first come, first served.
  • Special Requirements and Limitations: For safety reasons due to the inherent motion of the boat, children under the age of 5 and expectant mothers, and people with atypical mobility are not permitted on this cruise.
  • Accessibility: Due to various ramps, stairs and threshold, our boats do not accommodate wheelchairs or mobility assistance devices such as canes, walkers or crutches (including boots or braces). With loading and unloading passengers from an open ocean pier (Stearns Wharf), we are unable to board passengers that require assistance from others or any special equipment. All guests must be able to walk independently, using strong and wide unassisted steps. Safety is our highest priority.
  • Cancellation Policy: Refunds are not available for cancellations. However, tickets can be rescheduled if we are notified at least 48 hours before the scheduled departure. Rescheduling is not allowed for cancellations made within 48 hours of the departure time. Please note, there are no rebooking options for late arrivals, no-shows, or unused tickets. Trip protection available at checkout.
  • Cancellation Policy: Azure Seas Departure Location: 237 Stearns Wharf in Santa Barbara. There is limited paid parking available on the wharf and additional lots available along Cabrillo Blvd. Plan ahead, check-in time is 15 minutes prior to departure. Boat departs on time and does not wait for those who have not checked in early. Don't miss the boat!

Gray whales make one of the longest migrations of any mammal on earth. Every year about 28,000 gray whales swim over 10,000 miles around Mexico’s nursery lagoons and feeding grounds in the Arctic. Glimpse into the mysterious world of these gentle giants as they travel close to the Santa Barbara Coast, where waters are shallower and safer from their leading predator, Orcas. It is a common sight to catch these incredible creatures breach, fluke, spy hop, flipper wave, and tail wave on our excursions!

Plus, the Channel Islands National Park waters are home to many diverse and beautiful cetaceans species (whales, dolphins, and porpoises). About 1/3 of the cetacean species found worldwide can be seen right here in our own backyard: the Santa Barbara Channel. So you might not JUST see gray whales, but an assortment of creatures alike!

Join us on our 70′ multi-level yacht, Azure Seas, as we disembark from our pier in Santa Barbara, Stearns Wharf, to see the abundant sea life off the coast of Santa Barbara and into the Channel. While it is the gray whale migration, we are still in the backyard of other amazing animals that could be seen on our trip, too, like graceful humpback whales, playful bottlenose dolphins, adorable sea lions, and more. Azure Seas has both upper and lower deck seating offering 360-degree views of the water with our Mediterranean like coastline, Santa Ynez mountains, and the Channel Islands as a beautiful background. However, if you prefer indoor seating, we have an incredibly comfortable indoor salon with booth seating and large windows to enjoy the views from. Not to mention a full bar where you can purchase the beverage of your choice, snacks, and more to further enjoy this experience unlike anything else!
